Nestly Parenting ("we," "us," or "our") is a parenting content platform operated by Attaullah. Our website is located at nestlyparenting.com. We publish educational articles about pregnancy, newborn care, and early parenthood, primarily serving readers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Contact form submissions: When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content.
- Comments (Giscus): If you comment on our articles using Giscus (GitHub-authenticated), your GitHub profile information is processed by Giscus. We do not store this data directly. Please review Giscus's privacy policy.
- Guest Comments (Netlify Forms): If you use our "Guest Comments" option, we collect the name and comment text you submit; these become public once we approve and publish the comment. We also offer two optional fields: "Your work or role" (e.g. nurse, parent, grandparent) and — only if you actively check a clearly-labeled consent option — an email address and/or WhatsApp number. These optional fields are collected solely to give you the choice of receiving occasional updates about new Nestly Parenting stories; they are never published, never displayed alongside your comment, and never included in the public comment data shown on the site. Submitting a comment does not, by itself, sign you up for anything — the consent checkbox for updates is separate from and unchecked by default independent of the comment submission itself. This data is processed by Netlify, our hosting and form provider, which — per their own current documentation — automatically processes standard technical data such as your IP address as part of handling any web request. All submissions are reviewed by us before anything is published; unapproved submissions are not displayed publicly. Netlify's documentation does not specify an automatic deletion period for form submissions and advises site owners to manage and delete data manually — accordingly, we periodically review and delete older submissions, particularly any that were not approved for publication or any optional contact information provided. Information Collected Automatically
- Analytics data: We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our site, including pages viewed, time spent, device type, and approximate geographic location.
- Log data: Our web hosting provider may automatically collect server log data including IP addresses, browser type, and referring URLs.
- Local Storage: Our Feeding Tracker tool stores data (feeding session logs) locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your contact form enquiries
- To understand how our content is being used and improve it
- To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdSense (see Section 5)
- To comply with our legal obligations
- To protect the security and integrity of our website
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months, after which they are securely deleted. Analytics data is retained for 26 months (Google Analytics default), after which it is anonymised. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
9. Children's Privacy
Nestly Parenting is an educational resource for adults — specifically parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (US), 16 (EU/UK), or 13 (Canada). If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
